Local Scholarships
Instructions for WHS Students for Local Scholarship Application
Completed Application Due Wednesday, December 16, 2020
Your application for the scholarship must include:
● Completed typed and signed application form
● Personal letter stating goals and aims
● Small photograph
● Letters of recommendation from two people, not more than one from school
● Current Official Transcript (Counseling office will print this)
How to access the Google Doc:
REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR APPLICATION AND TO INCLUDE A PICTURE AND THE REST OF THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. WE WILL PRINT YOUR CURRENT TRANSCRIPT AND ATTACH WITH YOUR RETURNED APPLICATION.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance with the process, please see Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Hatfield or Mrs. Hinshaw in the counselor’s office.
This application is for the following scholarships. It will be screened and submitted to the appropriate scholarship committees.
Mr. & Mrs. A.L. Chase Educational Trust – these scholarship awards are based on need for assistance, academic record, standardized test scores, character and personality and interest/determination to complete your education program.
● Student must currently attend a Sumner County Public High School
● Student must be a member of the graduating class of 2021
● Student must be in the top 10% of graduating class
● Student must be in the top 20% of ACT composite score
Loofbourrow Educational Trust - these scholarship awards are based on need for assistance, academic record, standardized test scores, character and personality and interest/determination to complete your education program.
● Student must currently attend a Sumner County Public High School
● Student must be a member of the graduating class of 2021
WELLINGTON HIGH SCHOOL Local Scholarships – these scholarship awards are determined by the various criteria determined as set forth by the individual scholarship and chosen by the committees set up by these individual scholarships.
● Student must be attending Wellington High School
● Student must be a member of the graduating class of 2021

- Once you open the link , Go to FILE and MAKE A COPY
