COLLEGE VISITS
Colleges who visit WHS are during CruCon/lunch time. Listen to the daily announcements for when scheduled visits are. To visit a college individually with your parents, you need to set up the visit through the college. Most colleges have a "Visit" button on their homepage. Once your visit is scheduled, there is a form in the counseling office you'll need to take. Also, parents must still call the school regarding attendance that day. Seniors get 3 excused college visits and Juniors get 2. Mrs. Karen Cornejo also takes groups of students to colleges for visits. Sign up for those visits is through her. Those visits do not count toward the "free" college visits Seniors & Juniors get. |
ACT DATES:
*October 17 - register by September 11 *December 12 - register by November 6 February 27 - register by January 22 *April 10 - register by March 5 June 12 - register by May 7 July 10-register by June 4 *ACT test will be offered at Wellington High School. Space is limited so registration is first come first served. Students must register themselves for the ACT at: myact.org |
Find out when the ACT will be offered and register online. Juniors can take the ACT for free! If you receive free or reduced lunches you can also take the ACT for free. Visit your counselor for a voucher or waiver.
