Counseling NewsIMPORTANT SENIOR DATES:
Oct. 6-8 - Apply FREE College Days Oct. 21 - Jostens with grad info - 9-9:30 am Oct. 21 - FAFSA info meeting - 2-3pm -parents are welcome! TBD - FAFSA NIGHT - 5:30-7:00 pm @ WHS Dec. 12 - Jostens delivery during lunch May 1 - Senior Meeting at 12:45 in the auditorium May 6 - All Sports Banquet at 5:30 in the gym May 10 - Baccalaureate 2 pm (not mandatory) May 12/13 - Senior Finals May 13 - * Marching Practice in the gym - 12:15. * CTE cords/Wall of Fame assembly at 2pm in the auditorium * Class Night - 6:00 pm (formal picture will be taken). Wear your cap/gown! May 14 - * Senior's Last Full Day. * Meet in the auditorium at 9:30am with your COMPLETED checkout sheet! * Marching practice at the football field at 11am. Pizza will be served! * Kennedy, IKE, and Lincoln Elementary walk thru at 1pm. Washington at 8:30am. May 15 - ALL graduation requirements must be completed by 3:30pm in order to walk at graduation. May 17 - Graduation - 2:00 pm at the WHS football field. In case of inclement weather it will be held in the WHS gymnasium. OTHER DATES:

Colleges who visit here are during lunch time. Listen to the daily announcements for when scheduled visits are. If you'd like to visit a college, seniors get 3 excused college visits (Juniors get 2)! Stop by Mrs. Case's office to sign up! |
ACT Dates:
Oct. 18 - register by Sept. 12 Dec. 13 - register by Nov. 7 Feb. 14 - register by Jan. 7 April 11 - register by Mar. 6 June 13 - register by May 8 |
Find out when the ACT will be offered and register online. Juniors can take the ACT for free! If you receive free or reduced lunches you can also take the ACT for free. Visit your counselor for a voucher or waiver.
